In 1989 the MVFS began presenting independent, foreign and documentary films at the historic Fountain Theatre in Mesilla.
The theatre is managed and staffed by volunteers.
Holiday hours:
Evening screenings at 7:30; Saturday matinees at 1:30; Sunday matinees at 2:30.
The Fountain Theatre will be closed Monday, Dec. 23-Tuesday, Dec. 31 and will re-open on Wednesday, January 1.
Ticket prices:
General admission $7; Student/Senior/Military $6; Members $5; Wednesdays $5. Beginning January 1, 2020 ticket prices will increase $1 for each category.
Merchandise:
Memberships (renew yearly): joint memberships $85; single memberships $50
Gift Certificates: good for two admissions and $6 in concessions
Movie punch passes: 5 tickets for $30; 10 tickets for $60
Coffee cups: $12; bring your cup when you see a movie and get free coffee.
