May 6th, 2017:  It’s day 6 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  When Pam Hett from the Hett Agency isn’t on social media, she is out in the Monument.  She says “I love hiking in the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument!”

May 8th, 2017:  It’s day 8 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  When Joel and Deanna Green aren’t organizing events or weddings for Enchanted Occasions Event Rentals, they are in the great outdoors.  They said “ WE are so thankful for OMDP—A true Treasure!”

May 9th, 2017:  It’s day 9 of our 31 days of Monumental Love! Dawn Staroska from Big Brothers/Big Sisters knows how important the outdoors are to her kids.  Dawn says “Our Bigs and Littles LOVE exploring the natural beauty around us”

May 10th, 2017:  It’s day 10 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  Physical Therapist Ella Nelson and LCGCC Board member Mary Canavan are buds and they both agree that OMDP is full of Magnificant Landscapes!

May 14th, 2017:  It’s day 14 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  One of the founding members of the Green Chamber, Don Kurtz of Rio Associates, says “Every time I climb a peak in the monument, I look out and think “I own all of this!”

May 17th, 2017:  It’s day 17 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  Two Sisters Writing and Publishing’s Catherine Greenspan is a big fan of the desert and says, “I love the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument!”

May 18th, 2017: It’s day 18 of our 31 days of Monumental Love! In business 40 years, Tony Harris of Antix, Inc appreciates Joyce keeping the place in order.  They both feel it’s important to have OMDP intact in Las Cruces.  They say protecting OMDP is “Keeping space for the public, for the future.”

It’s day 26 of our 31 days of Monumental Love!  Yoli Diaz and Leticia Soto from CARE, Inc  just LOVE OMDP! CARE, Inc helps people in the community who have been given a cancer diagnosis with expenses that come up during the cancer treatment.  The monument provides peace and solace during times of stress and uncertainty!
