Here in New Mexico, we see the health impacts of pollution close up and personal.
Proposed budget cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would cripple or eliminate programs that help protect our families from pollution in our local communities. In advance of a December vote in Congress on EPA’s budget, Moms Clean Air Force is highlighting the health impacts of pollution in Southern New Mexico and the role of EPA in protecting our health.
Together with local partners, such as the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce, Moms Clean Air Force will host a panel discussion in Las Cruces on December 1st featuring community leaders, health professionals, and moms. Join us to learn about the health impacts of pollution in our communities — and take action against proposed cuts to EPA’s budget.
The panel will begin at 3:30pm.
It is free and open to the public.
